COLLEGE STATION— The Texas A&M Football Chalk Talk for women returns in 2016 with host Aggie head football coach Kevin Sumlin. This special event has been missing from Aggie football the past few years due to construction in and around Kyle Field.
Ladies 18 years of age and older are invited to attend this event which is set for Wednesday, July 27. Doors to the Hall of Champions (Entry 3, west side of Kyle Field off of Wellborn Road) open at 4 p.m. with the program slated to begin at 5 p.m. Casual, comfortable attire with tennis shoes is suggested. Cost is $80 and includes dinner and registration is online at www.12thMan.com/chalktalk. Proceeds from the event and the silent auction will benefit Twin City Mission.
"This is great opportunity whether you're a casual observer of the game or you're calling plays from the stands at Kyle Field," Aggie head coach Kevin Sumlin said. "There will be something for all knowledge levels. Chalk Talk participants will take part in offensive, defensive and special teams sessions. They will participate in drills, tour the Texas A&M football facility and receive a preview of the 2016 Aggie football season."
Reserved tables are available and for more information contact Nancy Maly at the football office at 979-845-3500 or nmaly@athletics.tamu.edu.
