COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 12 Texas A&M Aggies head to Houston for a game against the Rice Owls, a team the Aggies have played at least once every season since 1936.
The Aggies own a 182-96-2 edge in the all-time series against Rice, including winning seven of the last 11.
Texas A&M leads the nation with 12 triples with Zach DeLoach ranking second in the country with five three-baggers.
The Aggies' pitching staff ranks in the top 10 in the country in WHIP (4th – 1.05), ERA (6th – 2.24) and hits allowed per nine innings (8th – 6.67). The Aggies also rank eight in the nation in double plays (22), 12th in walks allowed per nine innings (2.74) and 15th in K-to-BB ratio (3.12).
