COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The No. 15 Texas A&M Aggies make their first-ever trip to Whataburger Field Tuesday to play the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders.
The Aggies are 9-0 all-time against the Islanders with all nine games played in College Station.
Chandler Jozwiak gets the start against his brother's former team. After two years at Blinn College, Cullen Jozwiak lettered at A&M-Corpus Christi in 2016 and '17, batting .291 last season with seven doubles, two triples, one home run and 31 RBI.
Michael Helman enters the fray with an 18-game hit streak, the longest for an Aggie since Austin Homan had an 18-gamer in 2016. With a hit Tuesday, Helman would tie Robert Bonner for the 10th longest hit streak in school annals. Helman ranks fifth in the nation in hits (43) and 40th in runs (26).
Texas A&M is outscoring opponents 23-3 in the first inning, 49-8 in the first two frames and 72-18 in the first three innings.
