SCORING SUMMARY
T1 | The Aggies sent 10 batters to the plate in the opening frame. Michael Helman started the rally with a leadoff single to centerfield and Logan Foster followed with a four-pitch walk. Shewmake knocked in the first run with a single to rightfield. With runners on the corners, Hunter Coleman bounced a slow roller to third base, scoring Foster on the groundout. A Will Frizzell opposite field single to leftfield put runners on the corners again and Chris Andritsos singled to lefetield to plate Shewmake. With two outs, Janca pushed Frizzell across and an error on a grounder to second by Zach DeLoach scored Andritsos. A&M 5, UT 0.
T3 | With one out, Cam Blake singled up the middle and George Janca followed with a single to leftfield. Zach DeLoach looked like he was going to drive in two with a shot to right-center, but centerfielder Brodie Letftridge crashed into the wall to make the catch. The relay throw to first base to try to double off Janca was errant, allowing Blake to scamper to third. A throwing error on a grounder to third base by Helman allowed Blake to score. A&M 6, UT 0.
T6 | The Aggies used a two-out rally for two in the sixth. After a flyout by DeLoach and groundout by Helman, Foster hit a wall-banger to leftfield for a double and Shewmake was hit by a pitch. Coleman knocked in both runners with a double to leftfield. A&M 8, UT 0.
B8 | Tennessee finally broke the scoring seal in the eighth. Benito Santiago greeted reliever Kaylor Chafin with a single to right-center on his second pitch of the game. Luc Lipcius drew a walk and Jay Charleston followed with a single to knock in Santiago. After a groundout and a walk loaded the bases, Andre Lipcius knocked in Luc Lipcius with a sacrifice fly. A&M 8, UT 2.
B9 | With one out, Aggie reliever Chandler Jozwiak hit Leftridge with a pitch and issued walks to Benito Santiago and Luc Lipcius to load the bases. Nolan Hoffman entered the game and walked Jay Charleston, pushing a run across, before striking out Justin Ammons and getting a groundout by Pete Derkay to end the game. A&M 8, UT 3.
