AT TOMBALL HIGH SCHOOL: Played under Doug Rush... amassed all-district honors all four years... named first-team All-American along with first-team All-State as a senior... also earned Houston Player of the Year Award and Perfect Game All-American... helped his team reach second round playoffs freshman year, first round sophomore year, fourth junior year, and gained title of State Championship during his senior year (2013)... batted a .531 senior year with nine HR, 39 RBI and 42 runs scored.
 
PERSONAL: Nicholas Matthew Banks was born November 18, 1994 in Charlotte, North Carolina to parents Stephanie and Tony Banks, their only child... at age 11, moved to Texas to play baseball... uncle David Lemmon played baseball at UNC and ventured onward to play with the Chicago Cubs and the White Sox... uncle Mike Ray played football at Purdue... sports management major aspiring to become a coach... enjoys working out and hanging out with friends on his down time.
