True freshman DJ Hogg scored 20 points in his collegiate debut to lead all scorers in the basketball team's 104-64 season-opening win over USC Upstate Friday at Reed Arena. Hogg went 5-of-9 from behind the arc and 7-of-11 overall from the floor while grabbing 6 rebounds.
