Cushing Stadium: Accessibility

Texas A&M University recognizes the needs of persons with disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. In addition, Texas A&M University strives to accommodate the individual needs of guests with disabilities.
 

 

Parking

To park in spaces designated for disabled individuals, a person is  required to properly display a state issued accessible parking placard or license plates.  A disabled parking placard or plate is ONLY valid when used by the individual with the disability or someone who is driving the individual with the disability.

Disabled parking is available in the following places: 

Elevators

Elevators are located at the venue for fans’ convenience. While a ticket is required for entry into the stadium, you do not need a pass to use the elevators at Cushing Stadium. As a reminder, all bags will be searched upon entry to the stadium.

  • Elevator (Guests): Access to ground level, and concourse
  • Elevator (Media): Access to ground level, concourse, press box

Ramps

There are no ramps at Cushing Stadium. Please utilize elevators to access the main concourse level.

Restrooms

Accessible restrooms can be found near Sections 108 and 111.

Animals

Animals are not permitted inside Texas A&M Athletics venues, with the exception of service animals and service animals in training. [per University SAP 08.01.02.M0.02, Service Animals, Emotional Support Animals and Other Animals on Campus]

Accessible Seating

A wheelchair user and companion will be permitted, subject to availability, to exchange tickets that they have purchased for accessible and companion seats in a manner that affords them reasonable accommodation and accessibility. Patrons who do not require wheelchair accessible seating but require other special accommodations may also exchange tickets for alternative locations that better accommodate their needs. Limits apply.

Assistive Listening System

Cushing Stadium is equipped with an assistive listening system. Please contact guest services (near section 112) for more information.

Season Tickets

Wheelchair users and their companion(s) shall be afforded seating locations from among the available wheelchair locations, subject to availability and priority point rank. 
 
Season tickets for accessible seating can be purchased:
  • online at 12thman.com/tracktickets (look for special accessible seating options)
  • by visiting our office located at the north end of Kyle Field (Monday-Friday)
  • by calling 888-992-4443 (888-99-AGGIE)
Tickets are subject to availability and priority rank. Limits apply.

Single-Meet Tickets

Single-meet admission is free to the public. Subject to availability of accessible seating, Texas A&M has multiple areas to accommodate wheelchair-accessible seats and companion seats. 

Seats Reserved Exclusively for Individuals with Disabilities

Seats are reserved exclusively for individuals with disabilities, or individuals who use a mobility device or service animal. If you do not have a disability, use a mobility device or have a service animal, you may be asked to move. No season or individual game tickets for accessible or companion locations will be available to those without disabilities (other than non-disabled companions).
