Texas A&M will play host to rival Texas on Monday, Feb. 2, as part of ESPN's "Big Monday" college basketball lineup, Aggies head coach Tony Barone said Tuesday.
The nationally-televised game highlights the Aggies' home conference schedule, which also includes games against NCAA Tournament participants Kansas (Jan. 14), Colorado (Jan. 28) and Oklahoma (Jan. 10), along with Texas Tech (Feb. 21), Oklahoma State (Jan. 3) and Nebraska (Feb. 11).
Six of A&M's conference games will be televised by ESPN Regional, including the Texas Tech and Oklahoma home games. The other ESPN Regional games are on the road against Iowa State (Jan. 17), Oklahoma State (Jan. 24), Oklahoma (Jan. 31) and Texas Tech (Feb. 7).
The Phillips 66 Big 12 Tournament will be March 5-8 at Kemper Arena in Kansas City.
The seven-game non-conference home schedule, announced earlier this summer, is highlighted by the Colorado State game on Dec. 10. The Aggies play non- conference road games at Alabama (Dec. 3), Arizona State (Dec. 19) and Washington State (Dec. 30).
