The No. 17-ranked Texas A&M Football team worked out for two hours in full pads Tuesday on the artificial turf practice field adjacent to Kyle Field.

No new injuries occurred during the workout, but one new injury was reported.

Freshman defensive back Joel Bryan, from Bryan, Texas, tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee during the closing moments of Monday's workout. After further evaluation on Tuesday, it was determined that he indeed had torn the ligament and will be out for the remainder of the season. Bryan had not yet seen any game playing time.

In other developments, senior linebacker Trent Driver returned to workouts on Tuesday after suffering a bruised thigh. It was reported earlier that he would miss the workout.

The Aggies are preparing for Saturday's Big 12 Conference opener against the No. 16-ranked Colorado Buffaloes. The game will originate from Folsom Field in Boulder, Colo. and will be televised on a regional basis by ABC-TV.
