The No. 13-ranked Texas A&M football team practiced for two hours in full pads Wednesday in preparation for Saturday's 1 p.m. game against Big 12 foe Iowa State.

Returning to full speed action was running back Jason Bragg, who missed the North Texas and Colorado games because of a sprained knee.

Missing today's workout were running back Sirr Parker (stomach virus) and cornerback Shun Horn (strained hamstring).


Aggies Rank No. 13 in FWAA Top 25 poll

Aggies rank No. 13 in poll that combines computer ranking, along with AP and USA Today/ESPN polls

The Texas A&M football team ranked No. 13 in the inaugural Football Writers Association of America top 25 poll, which takes into account the Associated Press media poll, the USA Today/ESPN coaches poll, the Jeff Sagarin computer rankings and the strength of schedule.

Defending national champion Florida holds down the top spot, followed by Nebraska, Florida State, Penn State and Michigan.

No. 2 Nebraska leads five Big 12 Conference schools in the poll. Kansas State is ranked No. 20, Colorado is ranked No. 22 and Oklahoma State comes in at No. 23.
