300 - R.C. Slocum's offenses have scored over 300 points in all of the head coach's nine seasons at Texas A&M. Prior to Slocum's arrival, A&M had posted only six 300-point season ever. Slocum's predesessor Jackie Sherrill's three Southwest Conference Championship teams (1985-87) scored 300, "Wishbone" inventer Emory Bellard's 1976-77 teams turned the trick, and legendary A&M coach Charley B. Moran's 1912 Aggie squad scored 366 while limiting opponents to 26 points (six shutouts).
8 - Strong safety Rich Coady has posted six of more tackles in eight consecutive games. Coady is the Aggies' leading tackler in the secondary.
8, part II - Lechler has had at least one punt of 50 yards or more in eight consecutive games.
2.5 - Butkus semifinalist Dat Nguyen is averaging 12.5 tackles in A&M's last six contests, which is nearly two tackles above his school record 10.6 average.
9 - Tight end Derrick Spiller and wide receiver Chris Cole have posted at least one catch in all nine Aggie games this season.
9, part II - Shane Lechler has averaged 42.0 yards per punt or more in all nine games this season. Lechler's low game of the season (42.0 vs. SHSU) would be only a yard and a half below the school record.
9 - Groza semifinalist Kyle Bryant has connected on 39 straight extra point attempts.
63.7% - Over the past five games, quarterback Branndon Stewart has completed 63.7 percent of his passes (60-of-94).
1.6 - Linebacker Warrick Holdman has posted three straight double-digit tackles games and is averaging 11.6 stops during that span.
23.3 - Nguyen and Holdman have combined for an average of 23.3 tackles in the last three Aggies games.
81 - R.C. Slocum has won 81 games during his career at Texas A&M, which leaves him just one win behind Hall of Famer Homer Norton on A&M's all-time coaching wins list.
3 - Texas A&M had three first-team selections on the Football News All-Big 12 team,which was released on Thursday. Steve McKinney, Dat Nguyen and Shane Lechler were the honorees.
