Texas A&M senior Miguel del Angel of McAllen, Texas, fired a final-round 69 Tuesday to finish tied for fourth at the prestigious Savane All-America Classic at El Paso Country Club in El Paso.

The 27-player tournament included all returning college All-Americans from last season.

Del Angel carded a three-round total of 68-70-69=207 to finish just two strokes behind tournament champion Alberto Ochoa of TCU, who fired rounds of 66-71-68=205 and won a playoff against Oklahoma State's Edward Loar (70-67-68=205). Arizona's Rory Sabbatini finished third at 65-70-71=206 while del Angel tied for fourth with North Carolina State's Tim Clark (72-66-69=207).

Del Angel earned honorable mention All-America honors last year by the Golf Coaches Association of America to receive an invitation to the event.
