The Aggies returned to the practice field on Monday following the 59-6 victory against Sam Houston State (Sept. 6). The squad worked out in shorts and shoulder pads on the astroturf practice field.
Offensive lineman Chris Ruhman missed Monday's workout with a sprained shoulder and he is listed as day-to-day. Reserve tight end RoDerrick Broughton is still bothered with an ankle injury and he is listed day-to-day. Broughton did not play in the game against Sam Houston State.
Dat Nguyen left the Sam Houston State game with cramps and he was back in action Monday at practice.
A total of eight true freshmen saw action in the opening game led by linebacker Roylin Bradley's two sacks and running back Burnest Rhodes four-yard touchdown run. Others who saw action include: defensive lineman Rocky Bernard, defensive lineman Ron Edwards, defensive lineman Ronald Flemons, defensive back Jason Glenn, defensive back Michael Jameson and wide receiver Chris Taylor.
