Texas A&M Head Coach Tony Barone:

"I thought we came out flat in the 2nd half. They did a great job of jumping on us in the beginning of the 2nd half.

We had our chances to seal the win by making our free throws down the stretch; but we didn't.

Our middle men did not rebound well and it really hurt us when Aaron (Jack) fouled out. Jack did a great job for us and also Chris (Clayton) off the bench.

We are just devastated right now. This was really a tough loss. The toughest of the year."

Colorado Head Coach Ricardo Patton:

"Texas A&M came out hungry. They pounded it inside and hit their shots. We finally came out in the second half and played like men.

(About what was said at halftime) I can't repeat the things that I said at halftime. Our guys did a nice job of settling in and being focused in the second half.

I am proud of our guys the way we stayed together. No one quit or gave in.

At the start of the second half we wanted to pound it inside. Ronnie (DeGray) was the only one who played like a warrior in the first half. I told him at halftime that we would go to him to start the second half. Ronnie was the only one who was focused the whole game."

Colorado Forward Ronnie DeGray:

"This was a tough game. Coach chewed us out at the half. He threw some coolers and it pumped us up. We came out in the second half inspired.

We believed we could win at half. We pounded the ball inside the second half and it opened up the outside."
