Texas A&M reserve guard T. J. Brown will miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) late in Saturday's game against Oklahoma in Norman.
A 6-1 freshman from Olathe, Kan., Brown had played in 12 games this season and had seen increased playing time in recent games. He was averaging 1.1 points and 1.0 rebounds per game.
"I'm really disappointed for T.J.," A&M coach Tony Barone said. "He was really starting to play well. He'll have surgery some time this week and will begin rehabilitating the knee immediately."
