A&M Head Coach Tony Barone:

"Story at the half was rebounding. They out rebounded us 25-12. You saw the problem we have when Lue hit the 3 at halftime it was like the end of the world to us. Lue is a good player and his ability to dish makes all the other players better."

On being low on numbers:

"That is a terrible excuse for us to use because I see other teams only play 5 or 6 guys. It hurts us in practice but it is not an excuse for the game. I will be making an announcement tomorrow concerning adding guys to our roster. I am looking at getting two football guys to go with us to Missouri but I will announce that in the morning."

On the way the season has been:

"We need to reestablish what is important in our lives and I would like for us to leave it all on the court. I think we are feeling sorry for ourselves and if this is the case I am very disappointed. I feel it is an honor to put the uniform on and you can't disgrace it unless you leave it on the court."

"I love the game more now because of what is going on. Basketball is very important to me and I hate when others don't feel the same."

Nebraska Head Coach Danny Nee:

"I thought we did a good job tonight. We played hard and I thought we competed hard. I was worried the whole game. I knew that A&M wouldn't quit. I was pleased that we didn't melt to their pressure. We started off both halves strong and I think we eliminated their second chance shots on offense. This is always a tough place to play no matter what the attendance. I am just happy that we won a game after losing 4 in a row."

Nebraska Guard Tyronn Lue:

"I think our team played hard. We made some turnovers but we played hard. Andy (Markowski) and Venson (Hamilton) controlled the boards and I think that was the key to the game.

When they (A&M) went up 25-20 and the crowd started making some noise, I kind of got worried but they (crowd) really weren't a factor any other time."

Nebraska Center Venson Hamilton:

"Coach (Nee) told us coming in here that we had to control the boards and I think we did a pretty good job of that. Everybody was crashing the boards including the guards.

I think A&M was a little anxious just like us because he have lost four in a row."
