Several special activities are being planned for the closing ceremonies following the final Texas A&M men's and women's regular season basketball games at G. Rollie White Coliseum on Feb. 25 and 28.

Fans will have the opportunity to register for the chance to be involved in the closing activities during the next two weeks by reading the Bryan-College Station Eagle, listening to area radio stations and by attending the season-ending games at the "Holler House."

Contest winners will have the chance to cut down the nets, begin a balloon pull, win the game ball and have it autographed by the A&M head coach, "turn off the lights", win a week's rental car from Advantage and win a trip to Kansas City, Mo. for the Big 12 Tournament.

For the women's game on Wednesday, Feb. 25, radio station WTAW-AM will register 25 listeners to qualify for the drawing to cut down the nets. Listeners to radio stations KAGG-FM (Aggie 96), Power 94 and KTEX-FM will have the chance to qualify to "turn off the lights."

For the men's game on Saturday, Feb. 28, radio station KORA-FM will register 25 listeners to qualify for a drawing to cut down that game's nets. Listeners to radio stations KTSR-FM, KTAM-AM, and KHLR-FM (The X), will have the chance to qualify for that game's "turn off the lights" promotion.

Readers of the Eagle will find opportunities to win the autographed game ball, and register for the balloon pull. The Eagle will also have coupons available that will admit readers into each game for $1.

Those in attendance at the game will be given the opportunity to register for several promotions prior to the game in the lobby of the coliseum. Drawings will be held for the balloon pull, game ball, Advantage rental, and the trip to Kansas City, Mo.

The winner of the trip to the Big 12 Tournament will enjoy round trip airfare for two from College Station, a hotel room at the Aggies' tournament headquarters, and tickets to the tournament.

All participants in the contests must be present at the respective game to win.
