Baylor head coach Harry Miller:

"From an offensive standpoint it was two different ball-games. The first half we played good offensive and poor defense, and the second half we played poor offense and good defense. We just flat got outplayed down the stretch and A&M deserved to win it.

"I know it was a very emotional game for them closing out G. Rollie White. A lot of credit should go to Coach Barone and the way his youngsters have played despite the distractions of his job status and player injuries.

"Steve Houston and Michael Schmidt made key shots. They ( the Aggies) did what they needed to at the end and we didn't get much production from our offense. They found Roddrick Miller a little more defensively in the end.

"They should be in a better frame of mind going into the conference tournament and that'll make our job a little tougher. A&M is a very good team and physically they just pushed us off the block.

"I think this loss hurts our NIT chances and puts a lot of pressure on us going into the conference tournament."

Baylor Guard Patrick Hunter:

"They (A&M) came after me hard. We knew that teams would come at me, Brian (Skinner) and Roddrick (Miller). We need someone else to step up. Roddrick really stepped up today. This series has really turned into a big rivalry."

Baylor center Brian Skinner:

"My fours years at Baylor, we have not won here. It (G. Rollie White) has always been a tough place to play.

"This is definitely disappointing to us. We have to give A&M all the credit. They played extremely well. It was a very physical ball game, but that's nothing different than any other game.

"Roddrick (Miller) stepped up and made some big shots for us. He's a senior and that's what he has to do. We have to shake this one off and regroup for the tournament."
