The Texas A&M basketball program announced Tuesday the recipients of the team's annual awards.

Junior Calvin Davis (Killeen, Texas/Killeen HS) received the Loraine and Breezy Breazeale Free Throw Efficiency Award after making 80.7 percent (46-of-57) from the line, despite playing in only 13 games. Davis suffered two herniated disks in his back in the conference opener against Oklahoma State on Jan. 3 and missed the final 14 games of the season. Davis averaged 13.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.3 blocked shots per game.

Junior Shanne Jones (The Colony, Texas/The Colony HS) received the Tom and Mary Longbrake Leading Scorer Award after averaging 18.0 points per game overall and 19.1 points in Big 12 Conference play. Jones, a second-team All-Big 12 pick by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, also added an average of 6.7 rebounds per game.

Freshman Aaron Jack (Tulsa, Okla./Jenks HS), a transfer from Penn State, received the Daniel Scoates Garner Academic Achievement Award. A member of the 1998 Academic All-Big 12 First Team, Jack averaged 8.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
