The No. 14-ranked Texas A&M football team continued preparations Wednesday evening at the new grass practice fields for the Kickoff Classic which features the Aggies and No. 2-ranked Florida State on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Meadowlands in New Jersey.
The Aggies practiced was conducted in shorts and shoulder pads and among those missing the workout were linebacker Amon Simon (shoulder and hip flexor), strong safety Rich Coady (back) and running back Sirr Parker (thigh).
All practices remain closed to the public.
