Special Order Sports, Fox Sports Southwest's pay per view division, has announced that the Texas A&M football game versus Louisiana Tech scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Kyle Field will be televised on a pay per view basis.
There is no time change involved in FOX SW/SOS choosing to broadcast the game. Bill Land and former A&M standout Shea Walker will call the action.
Under conference television rules, the games can only be distributed on a pay per view basis in the participating teams' home states. In this case, Texas and Louisiana will have the PPV option.
Interested viewers should contact their local cable operator or satellite distributor to order. FOX SW/SOS lists the suggested retail price for the telecast at $19.95 in advance and $24.95 on game day.
Other televised games involving the Aggies are the Kickoff Classic on Aug. 31 at 7 p.m. on ABC (national), at Southern Mississippi on Sept. 19 at 2 p.m. on Fox Sports Net (national), and at Texas on Nov. 27 at 10 a.m. on ABC (national).
Under conference television rules, broadcast outlets can select games as late as 6 or 12 days in advance of the actual game.
