Senior linebacker becomes A&M's all-time leading tackler

Texas A&M's senior linebacker Dat Nguyen remained the leading tackler among 1998 Butkus Award semifinalists after posting 13 stops against Oklahoma State last Saturday. For the season, Nguyen has made 91 stops, including 61 solo hits, and 13 tackles behind the line of scrimmage.

Also with the 13 tackles, Nguyen moved past two-time All-American Johnny Holland to become Texas A&M's all-time leading tackler with 461 career stops. Holland's record of 455 tackles had stood for more than a decade. The OSU game marked the 25th double-digit tackle game of Nguyen's career at Texas A&M.

Nguyen will be seeking to improve his school record on Saturday when the No. 7-ranked Aggies host Oklahoma at Kyle Field. The game will kickoff at 6 p.m. and will be nationally televised by FX.
