The Texas A&M campus will serve as the setting for the Big 12 Showcase this week. The show airs on Fox Sports Southwest on Friday, Nov. 6 at 3 p.m. central and is repeated on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 10:30 a.m.
The Texas A&M vs. Oklahoma football game is previewed with host Bill Land interviewing Coach R.C. Slocum. The show will look at current events in the Big 12 including the Players of the Week. Aggie kick returner Chris Taylor was named the Special Teams Player of the Week in the Big 12 for his play against Oklahoma State.
Dat Nguyen will be recognized as the NationsBank Community Champion. NationsBank presents $1,000 to the general scholarship fund at Texas A&M in Nguyen's name.
