The Texas A&M Athletic Ticket Office has received 2,000 student tickets for the Big 12 Championship football game priced at $20 each.
Those tickets will be available for purchase by A&M students beginning on Monday, November 23 at 7 a.m. at the Athletic Ticket Office at G. Rollie White Coliseum. An all-sports pass is required for each ticket purchased and there is no limit on the number of tickets purchased together. Additional student tickets priced at $60 will also go on sale at the same time.
The Texas A&M athletic ticket office and the 12th Man Foundation have mailed ticket applications for the Big 12 Football Championship Game and subsequent bowl games. The championship game between the Aggies and Kansas State is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 5 in the Trans World Dome in St. Louis, Missouri. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. central and the game will be televised nationally by ABC Sports.
The ticket office and the 12th Man Foundation must receive the applications for the championship game by Wednesday, Nov. 25. This does not mean postmarked by that date, but actually in the hands of the respective offices.
Phone orders are being accepted from anyone who would like to attend the Big 12 Championship Game. Ticket prices are $60 for the general public. Fans should call 409-845-2311 or 1-888-99AGGIE (992-4443) and be prepared to provide a priority address as well as accurate phone numbers. There will be a $6 handling fee to cover the cost of priority mailing the tickets to the customer.
The deadline for returning the bowl application is Friday, Dec. 11.
