Texas A&M fans traveling to New Orleans for the Aggies' Jan. 1 date with Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl are invited to make A&M basketball a part of their holiday plans as well.
Coach Melvin Watkins' Aggies, 7-1 going into Saturday's game against Arizona State, play Southern University on Monday, Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. at the F.G. Clark Activity Center in Baton Rouge.
"We'd love to get a bunch of the Sugar-Bowl bound Aggies to fill the house for our game against Southern," Watkins said. "It's a convenient trip for our fans because its only a couple of hours drive from New Orleans."
Tickets are $7, $6 and $5 and can be purchased from the Southern University Ticket Office at 225-771-2022.
Baton Rouge is approximately a 1-hour, 15-minute drive from downtown New Orleans.
