Texas A&M will receive an allotment of 22,000 tickets for the 1999 Nokia Sugar Bowl game to be played Friday night, January 1 versus Ohio State in the New Orleans Superdome at 7:30 p.m.
Priority season ticket holders were mailed a bowl game ticket application with the BIG XII applications which were sent out on November 18. The deadline for priority applications to be returned to the Athletic Ticket Office or the 12th Man Foundation is Friday, December 11. Orders must be received in the office by 5 p.m. this Friday to be included in the priority filling. Orders received after that day will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis with any remaining available tickets.
Individual orders are being accepted by the Athletic Ticket Office by calling locally at 845-2311 or toll-free on the GTE ticket hotline at 1-888-99AGGIE. The ticket price is $65.00 each, but if this price level is not available, alternate levels of $75.00 or $95.00 will be assigned. These credit card orders will not be processed until ticket have been assigned. The ticket office anticipates mailing all orders by Priority Mail on or before Friday, December 18.
Texas A&M student tickets will go on sale at the ticket windows in front of G. Rollie White Coliseum on Thurday morning, December 10, at 7 a.m. The student ticket price is $65.00 each with a limit of 10 per student. A Student Sports Card with a football only or all sports option is required for each ticket purchased.
