Chris Clayton's game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer against Baylor on Saturday in Waco has been named Compaq's College Basketball's Play of the Week. The shot handed the Aggies a 57-56 Big 12 Conference victory.
Compaq, a major NCAA Corporate Partner, will award the Texas A&M Sports Information Department a $1,000 merchandise certificate for the winning entry. The program is co-sponsored by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and by Compaq Computer Corporation and is the only program of its kind that collects, categorizes and judges the best plays from all levels of college football and basketball.
