What are your thoughts on your first A&M-Texas game?
"I'm ready for my first taste of A&M and Texas. Obviously, we've heard a lot about the rivalry between the two schools and now we get a first-hand look at it. I was here about a half a day before I heard about the rivalry and I've seen it in the other sports."
What do you think of the job Rick Barnes has done this year at Texas?
"Rick has done a great job over there, but he's got the best talent right now, too, especially in his starting five. They are playing with a lot of confidence. Gabe Muoneke, Chris Mihm and Kris Clack are playing some of their best basketball. Mihm is a pro. He is hard for us to match up with, especially in a one-on-one situation, so we'll have to try some different things to get him off that low post block."
Your team has shown a lot of improvement in the last couple of weeks...
"I think we are getting better. We are putting some minutes together and playing better for longer periods of time. Unfortunately, we had 30 turnovers against Oklahoma State and that's hard to overcome. But if we continue to play like this, it puts us in a position to win some ball games. We know we are still limited in certain areas and we have to keep working to get better."
