The Texas A&M football team returned to the practice field Tuesday to resume spring drills.
Following a two-hour practice in which the Aggies sported shorts and helmets on the grass fields, head coach R.C. Slocum said the defending Big 12 Champions showed a lot of enthusiasm.
"It was a good workout today," Slocum said. "We came back from Spring Break yesterday and got a lift in. I thought we did a good job of practicing and we showed a lot of enthusiasm."
Returning to active drills for the Aggies was a pair of starting offensive linemen, center Seth McKinney and guard Semisi Heimuli. Both had missed several workouts prior to Spring Break due to injuries.
"Having Seth McKinney and Semisi back ready today was a plus," Slocum said. "They did not work in the first part of spring training, but it was really good to get them back today."
The Aggies will workout out three additional times this week with their next practice in full pads slated for Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at the grass practice facility.
