Head Coach R.C. Slocum put the Aggies through a two-hour workout on the grass practice fields in full pads. Slocum even pulled the red "don't hit" jerseys off of the quarterbacks toward the end of practice.

"We've got one more day of work left in the spring and so far I've been pleased," Slocum said.

Slocum commented on the play of quarterback Mark Farris from Angleton.

"He's been exceptional this spring," Slocum stated. "Most freshmen come in here after a spring and summer of not playing football. He's had five years since he played football, but he has worked hard and has shown ability."

Slocum was presented a plaque by the Adult Chapter of the Brazos Valley Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) at the end of practice.
