Former Texas A&M center Joe White will transfer to Temple College this fall, A&M coach Melvin Watkins said Wednesday.
White, who was academically ineligible to compete at A&M in the 1999-2000 season, was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team last year after starting in 18 games and averaging 6.0 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
A 6-10 center, White played prep basketball at Taft High School in San Antonio.
