WEBSTER GRABS INTERCEPTION IN FOURTH STRAIGHT CONTEST --
Senior cornerback Jason Webster has now grabbed interceptions in each of the Aggies' first four games of the season. Hecame into tonight's game as the Big 12 interceptions leader and was ranked No. 2 nationally. He raised his career interceptions total to seven.
The interception marked the 13th straight game that the Aggie defense has recorded a interception (21 total interceptions).
ALL-AMERICAN LECHLER BREAKS HIS SCHOOL RECORD --
Senior All-American Shane Lechler averaged a whopping 57.2 yards on five punts, breaking his own single game school record of 54.7 (set against Iowa State in 1996). His longest boot of the day was a 68-yarder. It was the eighth 50-plus punt average game of Lechler's career.

Placekicker Terence Kitchens booted a 51-yard field in the third quarter. It is his fourth 50-yard plus bomb of the season, highlighted by a school-record 62-yarder against Southern Mississippi ... (On offense's inability to score TD) "You have to give credit to Texas Tech. They played exceptionally well. We knew it was going to be a difficult task against Texas Tech. We had some plays to make but we didn't make them, while Tech was able to make the crucial plays. I'm proud of the way the players never quit and kept on battling. Now we have the opportunity to see how we respond to adversity."
