Texas A&M's 1998 Big 12 Championship win over No. 1-ranked Kansas State will be rebroadcasted on ESPN Classic on Wednesday, January 26 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The Aggies entered the conference title game in 1998 with a 10-2 record and were ranked No. 10 in the nation. A&M found themselves trailing 17-6 at halftime in the Trans World Dome in St. Louis, Mo., before 60,798 spectators.
One of the greatest comebacks in school history saw the Aggies overcome a 27-12 third quarter deficit and forced double-overtime. The 36-33 win earned the Aggies a spot in the first-ever Bowl Championship Series at the Nokia Sugar Bowl.
