The No. 31-ranked Texas A&M men's golf team will compete in the Intercollegiate at MacGregor Downs on Friday and Saturday at MacGregor Downs Country Club.
The tournament will consist of 36 holes on Friday and 18 holes on Saturday for a total of 54 holes. Play begins at 8 a.m. (EST) on Thursday and at 7:30 a.m. (EST) on Saturday). MacGregor Downs is a par 72 layout that measures 6,776 yards.
Joining the Aggies in the 12-team field are co-hosts No. 32-ranked North Carolina and No. 22 North Carolina State, No. 34 Colorado, No. 12 Duke, No. 48 East Tennessee State, No. 98 Florida State, No. 26 Kansas, No. 19 North Florida, No. 35 Minnesota, No. 57 Tulsa and No. 43 Wake Forest.
Representing A&M will be senior Ty Cox (Amarillo/Amarillo HS), sophomore Sean Gilliland (Killeen/Harker Heights HS), sophomore Josh McCoy (Perryton/Perryton HS), freshman Matt Lindholm (Georgetown/Georgetown HS) and junior Casey Cronin (Rockwall/Rockwall HS).
The tournament will be A&M's final tuneup for the Big 12 Championships April 23-25 at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kan.
