The Texas A&M football team went through a weight workout and meetings in the morning before returning to the practice field Tuesday night.

A few of the injured players returned to practice including tight ends RoDerrick Broughton and Michael de la Torre and running back Joe Weber.

In the evening workout, senior defensive lineman Rocky Bernard, from Baytown, Texas, went down with a knee injury in a non-contact situation.

"Rocky is a three-year starter who has worked awfully hard in the off-season and is an excellent player," Aggie Head Coach R.C. Slocum said. "He's a team leader and we're hoping it is not too serious. He will undergo an MRI tomorrow (Wednesday)."

Another Aggie starter, offensive tackle Michael Mahan left the practice to be evaluated by the Texas A&M medical staff.

The Aggies will work twice on Wednesday.
