The 23rd-ranked Texas A&M volleyball team (6-3, 2-1) hosts Big 12 foe Colorado Saturday at 7 p.m. and non-conference opponent Texas-Pan Amercian Sunday at 3 p.m.

A&M enters action this weekend having won five of their last six matches, including a Wednesday sweep at Oklahoma. The defeat of the Sooners was the Aggies?â„¢ 15th-consecutive win over OU.

Colorado (5-4, 1-1) defeated the University of Denver on Wednesday in four games and have won four of their last five matches. In Big 12 play, the Buffaloes swept Oklahoma in Boulder and lost in five games at Kansas. CU returns three starters from the 1999 squad that advanced to the NCAA tournament.

Texas-Pan American (2-8) concludes a busy week against the Aggies. The Broncs were swept at Eastern Washington on Monday and are competing in the Prairie View A&M Tournament Friday and Saturday before playing the Aggies on Sunday.

Texas A&M is 8-1 all-time against the Buffaloes and have won the only meeting played against the Broncs. Last year, the Aggies defeated the Buffaloes in four games in College Station and later swept the Buffaloes in Boulder. The only meeting between the Aggies and Broncs took place during the 1976 season at the North Texas State Tournament where the Aggies won 15-6, 15-2.

A&M?â„¢s next match is not until Saturday, Sept. 30 when the Aggies travel to Lincoln, Neb. to face the No. 1-ranked Nebraska Cornhuskers. First serve at the Nebraska Coliseum is scheduled for 2 p.m.
