The 21st-ranked Texas A&M volleyball team returns home Friday to host the Oklahoma Sooners. Match time is at 7 p.m. at G. Rollie White Coliseum, where the Aggies are riding a record-setting 27-match winning streak.

A&M has won six of its last seven matches, including a three-game sweep at Kansas on Wednesday. With the victory against the Jayhawks, the Aggies improved to 14-5 overall and moved into sole possession of second place in the Big 12 Conference with a 9-3 record.

Oklahoma is 6-13 overall and in 10th place in the league standings with a 1-10 conference mark after suffering its seventh consecutive loss, a 15-11, 15-9, 15-12 setback to Colorado in Norman on Wednesday.

A&M owns a 18-1 all-time record against Oklahoma, including an 9-0 mark since Big 12 play began in 1996. In addition, the Aggies are riding a 15-match winning streak against the Sooners.

The teams met earlier this season with A&M prevailing, 15-4, 15-7, 15-9, in Norman. Heather Marshall led the Aggies with 12 kills, four blocks and a .526 hitting percentage as A&M outhit Oklahoma .345 to .115. Preseason all-Big 12 selection Cathy Cook recorded a match-high 18 kills for the Sooners but was held to a .209 hitting percentage.

Following the Oklahoma match, the Aggies return to the road to face the Colorado Buffaloes, Wednesday, Nov. 1 in Boulder. A&M returns home Wednesday, Nov. 8 to play host to defending Big 12 champion and No. 1-ranked Nebraska. The match, which will be televised on a tape delay basis by Fox Sports Net, starts at 7 p.m. at G. Rollie White Coliseum, where the Huskers have not won since 1997.
