Texas A&M Post Game Quotes:

A&M Head Coach Melvin Watkins: "Overall we were not pleased with our defensive effort. Lately, practice has not been as good but that has been partly due to all of the injuries. Tonight we had some guys playing in different spots and that caused some confusion. Overall, we got the job done. We will have top go back and look at the tape. There were some good things out there. I saw some offensive continuity. We got some scoring but we could not stop them."

A&M guard Bernard King: "It is great to have a gut like Keith (Bean) inside. When teams double up on him it opens up things on the perimeter."

A&M forward Keith Bean: "I was a little tentative at first tonight. It has been a while since I have played. I just need to get used to it and make some adjustments."
