The Texas A&M football team resumed spring drills for two hours Tuesday at the grass practice facility on campus.
Following a week off for spring break, the Aggies donned full pads for the first workout back, but head coach R.C. Slocum was disappointed with the team's showing.
"You can see the effects of having a week off, but it's time to get back to work," Slocum said. "I was disappointed in the overall practice today. I thought we were a little rusty, but that's to be expected."
The Aggies will hit the practice field again on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. All of the spring practices are open to the public, but fans are asked to stay behind the yellow line surrounding the field for safety reasons.
A Maroon & White Game is slated for Saturday, March 31 at 1 p.m. at Kyle Field.
