The Texas A&M men's golf team is in 13th place after Monday's opening two rounds of the 35th Cleveland Golf Morris Williams Intercollegiate at Austin Country Club.

Tuesday's final round is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on the par 72, 6,906-yard layout.

No. 3-ranked Georgia Tech (-3) owns a narrow one-stroke lead over No. 23 Oklahoma State (-2) in the team standings. No. 13 Oklahoma is in third at even par, followed by No. 4 Texas (+1), Pepperdine (+2), UNLV (+7), No. 8 New Mexico (+12), No. 7 USC (+12), SMU (+13), Fresno State (+19), North Florida (+20), No. 10 BYU (+23), A&M (+25), No. 5 TCU (+28) and Virginia (+32).

Georgia Tech's Bryce Molder carded opening rounds of 67-68=135 (9-under-par) to take a two stroke lead in the individual standings over SMU's Franklin Hatchett, who carded 69-68=137.

For A&M, senior Casey Cronin is tied for 21st place with rounds of 71-75=146, freshman Duke Butler (77-75=152) and sophomore Matt Lindholm (75-77=152) are tied for 57th, senior Matt Loving is tied for 62nd at 77-76=153 and sophomore Shaun Helmle is in 75th at 75-82=157.
