The Texas A&M football team practiced for two hours Thursday evening in full pads at the grass practice fields after holding a walk through session and weight workout in the morning.
Returning to the practice field was returning starting running back Richard Whitaker who missed the Aggies' scrimmage on Wednesday due to a mild sprained knee.
Among those missing the evening workout were defensive lineman Evan Perroni (groin), and receiver Bryant Singleton (hamstring).
The Aggies will hold morning and evening practices on Friday.
A&M opens the season on September 1 against McNeese State at 6 p.m. at Kyle Field.
On Saturday, August 18, the Aggies will welcome fans to Kyle Field for the annual Cingular Wireless Photo and Autograph day. The event is free and will begin at 10 a.m.
