Texas A&M wide receiver Greg Porter will be out for four to six weeks after breaking three bones in his right foot during practice on Tuesday afternoon.
"(Greg Porter) got his legs tangled up in a skeleton drill," A&M coach R.C. Slocum said. "He was going up to catch a pass and fell wrong. It's really a strange deal. The doctors say that they have not seen this type of injury except in a car wreck."
Porter, a junior from Keller, Texas, is the team's second leading receiver with 12 receptions for 114 yards during four games. He is averaging 9.5 yards a catch and 28.5 yards a game.
The No. 22-ranked Aggies (4-0, 1-0) continue preparations for Saturday's game against Baylor (2-1, 0-1) at 1 p.m. at Kyle Field.
