The Texas A&M men's golf team carded a final-round of even-par 288 on Tuesday and finished 15th at the Taylor Made Red River Shootout at Dallas Athletic Club.

Texas won the team championship by 10 strokes after carding rounds of 276-282-276=834 on the par 72, 6,766-yard layout. Southern California finished second at 844, followed by TCU (845), Oklahoma State (846), Ohio State (847), Washington (850), SMU (853), Oklahoma (854), Houston (855), Duke (862), Arizona (866), Northwstern (867), BYU (869), Kent State (878) and A&M (301-291-288=880).

The Longhorns' Jason Hartwick captured the individual title with a 15-under-par total of 65-66-70=201, five strokes ahead of runners-up Kevin Stadler of USC (69-69-68=206) and Martin Flores of Oklahoma (69-67-70=206).

Sophomore Stephen Reed led the Aggies, tying for 35th place with an even-par total of 72-72-72=216, while freshman Tyler Garrett tied for 51st at 78-72-70=214, freshman rand Arbuckle tied for 66th at 75-74-73=222, senior Sean Gilliland tied for 70th at 76-74-75=225 and senior Josh McCoy tied for 74th at 81-73-73=227.

The Aggies continue their fall season at the Gary Koch Cleveland Golf Intercollegiate Monday and Tuesday in Tampa, Fla.
