The Texas A&M women's golf team carded rounds of 323-313=636 in Monday's opening two rounds and is in ninth place at the Big 12 Invitational at Karsten Creek Golf Club.

The tournament concludes with a final 18 holes on Tuesday.

The Aggies were led by freshman Nicole Melton, who is tied for 10th place in the individual standings after posting rounds of 78-72=150, six-over-par on the par-72, 6,024-yard layout.

No. 10-ranked Oklahoma State, the tournament host, carded rounds of 300-292=592 to take a four-stroke lead over No. 14 Ohio State (596). No. 17 Northwestern is in third place at 604, followed by No. 11 Tulsa (613), No. 20 TCU (614), No. 7 Texas (619), Iowa State (634), Texas Tech (634), A&M (636), Kansas State (637), No. 18 Oklahoma (637), Baylor (643), Kansas (647), Colorado (652), Missouri (654) and Nebraska (655).

Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh leads the individual race with a one-under-par total of 71-72=143, one stroke ahead of Ohio State's Ashley Lowery, who carded an even-par 72-72=144.

Also for A&M, senior Anna Jonsson is tied for 38th at 81-79=160, sophomore Mira Bendevis is tied for 46th at 81-81=162, senior Jennie Poth is tied for 52nd at 83-81=164 and senior McKenzie Dyslin is tied for 74th at 90-84=174.
