The Texas A&M women's golf team carded a final-round 328 on Sunday and finished 11th at the Alabama Capstone Intercollegiate at the Capstone Club of Alabama. The tournament ended the Aggies fall schedule.

Tennessee captured the team title by 25 strokes with a 54-hole total of 946. Mississippi finished second at 971, followed by Missouri (972), Minnesota (974), Kentucky (975), Oklahoma (980), Mississippi State (983), Alabama (985), Arkansas (1,003), UNC Wilmington (1,005), A&M (1,006), Nebraska (1,007), Miami, Fla. (1,009), South Florida (1,016), Alabama-Birmingham (1,016), SMU (1,062) and Augusta State (1,099).

Alabama's Sarah Johnston took the individual title with a three-round total of 231, 15-over-par on the par-72, 6,128-yard course.

The Aggies were led by freshman Nicole Melton who posted rounds of 83-78-79=240. Also for A&M, senior Anna Jonsson carded 81-82-88=251, senior Jennifer Cates shot 88-87-83=258, senior McKenzie Dyslin had 91-88-83=262 and sophomore Mira Bendevis shot 93-89-83=265.
