Senior Andy Leatherman scored 16 points to lead Texas A&M to a 92-79 exhibition victory against the EA Sports Midwest All-Stars Wednesday night at Reed Arena.
The Aggies had a narrow 44-41 lead at halftime, but led by as many as 17 in the second half.
Michael Gardener added 13 points for the Aggies, while Nick Anderson scored 11 and Daryl Mason had 10. Leading scorer Bernard King was held to just nine points, but contributed 8 assists and 8 rebounds.
Kelley McClure led EA Sports with 25 points, Sheldon Quarles had 11 and Titus Warmsley scored 10.
The Aggies open the regular season against George Washington on Monday at 7 p.m. at Reed Arena.
