Texas A&M outside hitter Michelle Cole and setter Jenna Moscovic have been named to the 12-member All-Central Region Team, the American Volleyball Coaches Association announced today. The central region encompasses the 39 teams representing the Big 12 Conference, the Mid-Continent Conference, the Missouri Valley Conference and the Southland Conference.

Cole and Moscovic, both first-team All-Big 12 selections and four-year starters, have directed 15th-ranked A&M to a 25-5 record and its ninth consecutive NCAA tournament appearance. The Aggies, who finished second in the Big 12 with a 16-4 record, will take on No. 6 Wisconsin in the Sweet Sixteen on Friday in Palo Alto, Calif.

Cole, a senior from Temecula, Calif., is making her first appearance on the team. She leads the Big 12 and is ranked nationally with 4.18 digs per game. Cole has led the team in digs in a team-leading 14 matches this season and has reached double figures in digs in 24 matches. In addition, she has posted 20 or more digs in six matches, including a career-high 32 in a four-game victory against Kansas State. Earlier this season Cole became the sixth player in A&M volleyball history to post both 1,000 digs and 1,000 kills in a career. She set an A&M record with 311 digs in Big 12 matches only and is currently ranked sixth in the A&M full season records with 431 digs. In addition, she is listed fourth in career digs with 1,340.

Cole, who is hitting a career-best .263 this season, ranks third on the team with 2.95 kills per game and 3.45 points per game.

Moscovic, a senior from Stockton, Calif., is making her third consecutive appearance on the all-region team. The most highly decorated setter in A&M history, Moscovic leads the nation with five triple-doubles and has directed the Aggies' balanced attack to a No. 1 national ranking in both assists and kills per game throughout much of the season.

A team captain, Moscovic is averaging 12.97 assists per game and leads the Aggies with a .348 hitting percentage. She has posted a personal best 1,383 assists this season, ranking sixth in the A&M records. Moscovic ranks second in the career records with 5,001 assists.
