Aggie Postgame Notes
FARRIS AIRS IT OUT ---
The Aggies continued to air it out behind the arm of quarterback Mark Farris. Lining up the majority of the time in the shotgun, Farris picked apart the Wyoming defense for a career-high 341 yards while completing 30-of-42 passes (72.0 completion percentage). The passing yards and completions rank No. 4 in school history, while his 42 attempts rank No. 9.
It was the second 300-yard plus game of his career. His previous high passing game was 311 yards against Baylor in 2000. In the first half alone, Farris completed 18-of-25 passes for 177 yards.
Farris continued his string of consecutive 200-yard passing games, pushing his streak to five, which is one short of Edd Hargett's school record six straight set in 1968.
It was also his fifth career 40-pass attempt, which is two more than anyone else in school history.
QUICK HITS ---
The Aggies rolled up a season-best 507 yards, which is the highest offensive effort since a 522-yard day against Kanas in 1999 … Redshirt freshman Keith Joseph bulled for career high 105 yards on 21 carries. He is the first freshman to break the century mark in rushing since Joe Weber ran for 121 yards against Missouri in 1999 … Junior cornerback Sammy Davis posted another interception against Wyoming. He has three picks in his first two games this season … Senior receiver Bethel Johnson has now caught at least one pass in 23 straight games, which is every game of his career. He finished with 6 catches for 50 yards. … Senior center Seth McKinney started his 40th consecutive game, which is every game of his career … Marcus Jasmin, a 310-pound D-lineman and upback on the kickoff return team, returned the first kickoff of his career for nine yards. … Sophomore transfer Jamaar Taylor made the first start of his career and responded with 4 catches for game-high 74 yards … Tonight's crowd of 18,131 is the smallest crowd to watch Aggie football since at least 1979. The previous low during the Slocum era was 23,783 at a sold-out Ownby Stadium when A&M played SMU in 1990.

Aggie Postgame Quotes
HEAD COACH R.C. SLOCUM ---
We're happy to come on the road and get a win. But we did not execute in any phase of the game. Our objective was to come up here and get a win, and we did that, but it's obvious we have a lot of work to do."
LINEBACKER BRIAN GAMBLE ---
"I'm disappointed that we haven't played up to our potential yet. Wyoming came in here fired up and played extremely hard. We have several opportunities to put them away, but we didn't do it. This is a tough play to play, but we're leaving here with a win."
QUARTERBACK MARK FARRIS ---
"We won the game and that's what counts. We're extremely happy to get out of here with a win. This is a tough place to play. This game was the game of the year for Wyoming, but we came out on top."
