Aaron McGhee scored 22 points and Hollis Price had 14 in his return to the lineup, leading Oklahoma (No. 11 ESPN/USA Today, No. 10 AP) to its 10th straight victory, 89-63 over Texas A&M in the Big 12 opener for both teams Saturday night.

The Sooners (11-1) held Texas A&M to 34.5 percent shooting and forced 22 turnovers. The Aggies (6-9) have lost four in a row and eight of their past nine.

Price, Oklahoma's leading scorer with a 17-point average, missed the previous game after being poked in the eye during a practice. He wore goggles Saturday and didn't seem affected -- he had two steals in the early going to help the Sooners take control of the game.

The score was 14-7 when Oklahoma went on a 15-1 run. Daryan Selvy, who finished with 18, scored eight straight including back-to-back 3-pointers. Price ended the spurt with two baskets, the second a 3-pointer that made it 29-8 with 6:55 left in the first half.

Oklahoma led 42-26 at halftime, then started the second half by outscoring the Aggies 14-4. McGhee scored eight in a row during that time, six coming on 3-pointers. He moved inside a short time later where he scored on four of five possessions to help push the lead to 30 points.

Andy Slocum had 22 points and 14 rebounds for Texas A&M. The Aggies' leading scorer, Bernard King, didn't get on the board until making two free throws with 3:40 remaining in the first half. He wound up with 8 points, nine below his average.

The winning streak is Oklahoma's longest since the 1991-92 season.
