The Texas A&M football team's Friday workout was highlighted by an hour-live live scrimmage on Kyle Field.
After drilling for just over an hour on the grass practice field, the Aggies moved north to Kyle Field where a lively scrimmage ensued.
"There was some pretty good hitting out there today," head coach R.C. Slocum said. "I was pleased with their enthusiasm. It was about what I expected. We have only been in full pads two days, so I was expecting them to be a little rusty in the first scrimmage. But I was pleased overall with what we accomplished and the way they competed."
Watching the scrimmage from the sidelines were a pair of former all-conference Aggie linebackers Aaron Wallace (1986-89) and Jason Atkinson (1990-93).
